Angle Globe Valves
Remosa designs and fabricates angle globe valves for severe applications, including high temperature flue gas with particles in suspension.
The valve body is made from a rolled plate of carbon steel or stainless steel and it is internally lined with abrasion resistant lining installed with hexmesh and refractory materials. The valve can have a flanged or bevelled end.
The removable plug seat ring is hard-faced with cobalt based alloy. The plug seating area is also hard-faced with cobalt based alloy.
The plug spherical part is protected by abrasion resistant lining installed with hexmesh.
The valve stem is made of forged SS overlaid with Wallex 50. The valve installation in the pipe is recommended with the stem in the vertical position.
The stuffing box has primary and secondary packing rings with purging and seal injection ports.
The valve can be operated with a hydraulic, electrical or pneumatic actuator.
The factory acceptance test is performed at design temperature. Leakage test per ANSI/FCI.
Remosa's angle globe valves are designed in accordance with:
- American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) B31.3, Process Piping;
- American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Section VIII, Division 1, Rule of contraction for pressure vessel;
- American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Section VIII, Division 2, Boiler and pressure vessel Code for Finite Element Analysis;
- API Standard.
The valve can be supplied with CE stamp in accordance with the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED: 97/23/EC) and European Directive for Equipment end Protective System in potentially Explosive Atmospheres (ATEX: 94/9/EC).
