A new order from Argentina

After some very successful maintenance intervention, Remosa received an order from Argentinean oil giant YPF to replace a regenerated catalyst shut-off slide valve at the Lujan de Cuyo FCC plant. The existing valve had been built by one of Remosa's competitors and was experiencing a disk sticking problem, due to design faults. The new valve - inlet I.D. 546 mm, outlet I.D. 743 mm, overall length 2,165 mm - must be completed and shipped by July 15, 1999. (March 5, 1999)
